Beginner's Guide to NuTang

Just joined and feel flustered? Don't worry, NuTang is actually incredibly easy to use. Here's the basic gist.

NuTROL

The derivation of this word is "NuTang Control." Shorten that, and you get "NuTROL." Yes, it's lame. NuTROL is your control center for everything.

To access NuTROL, you must first be logged in. After you log in, you will be automatically directed to NuTROL. If you surf out of it, you can quickly return to NuTROL by clicking the NuTang gorillas logo on the top-left corner.

NuTROL has 8 sections:

• Account Info
• Profile
• Customization
• Weblogs & Modules
• Writing
• Guestbook
• Inbox
• Extra

You can access these sections via the green navigation bar located under the main navigation bar. If their names don't already explain it, my best advice is to check each section to out get a feel for where everything is.

Advice

I suggest to go to the Profile section of NuTROL first. Complete your profile. Once this is done, you will start to show up in searches.

If you do not plan on writing in your weblog just yet, or you do not intend on keeping a weblog at all, go to Account Info. There, you should set your home page to your profile.
